Work Mike!

I’m going to work my Bad Boy Mike’s 2nd Chance Project©, and post it for everyone to see it work in real time. I will post each challenge (7 total) on my blog and the social media platforms I use.
I’m doing this because I’ve been denied approval to implement and/or run my self-rehabilitation project here at this institution.
This is an individual project at this point and cannot be run as a group.
I’ve already posted many topics about my self-betterment journey and the hard lessons I’ve learned along the way on these same platforms. I will do my best to eliminate redundancy and may refer to previously posted writings that represent any specific challenges I work.
My goal in doing this is to prove the advantages that my project offers in a public manner.
I want to prove the fact that if you “Do The Work” you can change anything about your life that you don’t like. Anyone can do exactly that from anywhere or at any point in their life as well, period!
The work I’ve done to date has already served its intended purposes for me by earning me the support I’ll need upon my release. I have people who believe in me and fully committed their support of my chosen path after my release.
I’ve been able to accomplish this because the work I’ve done publicly proves to my support system that I’ve been choosing to spend my time (while still in prison) in ways that support me in doing the right thing the right way. I don’t need to wait until “I get out” to prove myself.
See, the fact about my project is that one cannot complete it without bettering themselves in some way, shape, or form.
One cannot complete it without bettering/increasing their chances to find success in prison and upon their release, more importantly.
One cannot complete it without reducing the risk of them continuing to hurt themselves or someone else in society when they’re released from prison.
One cannot complete it without bettering/increasing their chances to earn the opportunities they’ll need to succeed, end of story!
Please don’t get me wrong when I say I’ve been denied approval to implement and/or run my project at this institution, I still work with a few individuals on a personal level.
That personal level is sharing what I do, why, and talking about the changes that have taken place in my life once I began to “do the work.” I live by the words I speak and share and continue to learn from others experiences when they share with me.
Everyone’s story is different, but the end result is the same. Wherever we’re at in life—physically or metaphorically—we all must do the same things to obtain the desired outcomes we want, be a positive addition to our environment, not hurt ourselves or others, and keep our freedom once earned.
We all desire freedom in some way, shape, or form. I hope you’ll read and interact with me through comments as I earn the freedom I desire. Freedom to me is living a healthy life, applying the lessons learned to your life, and actually doing something that brings you and your loved one’s happiness.
In many ways I’m already a free man. Enjoy reading how that journey’s been made a reality while I’m still living in a prison cell.
